New York, NY - 1 November 2016 - Threading the needle - Workers guide the sculpture onto the pedestal from which it will rotate. After a two and a half year absence for maintenance, the Alamo ( also known a The Cube) returned to Astor Place. The 1967 sculpture by Tony Rosenthal is a much beloved work of public art that bridges the East and West Village.
